• Device and Usage Information: When you use Joxlu, we may automatically collect non-personal information about your device, including device type, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers, and usage statistics such as app launch frequency, feature usage, and session duration. This information is collected in an anonymized, aggregated format and is used solely to improve the app's performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.
• User-Generated Content: All content that you input into Joxlu, including item details, book library entries, movie tracker data, personal notes, and dashboard statistics, is stored locally on your device by default. We do not access, collect, or store this personal content on our servers unless you explicitly choose to back up your data (if this feature is enabled in a future update).
• Crash and Diagnostic Data: If the app experiences a crash or error, we may collect anonymized diagnostic data to help us identify and fix the issue. This data includes error logs, device information, and app state at the time of the crash, and it does not contain any personal identifying information.

We only use anonymized, aggregated data for internal analytics and app improvement. This aggregated data cannot be used to identify any individual user, and it is never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your personal user-generated content is stored exclusively on your device by default. We do not host or store your personal data on our servers, which means your data is fully under your control at all times. You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data from your device settings.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited anonymized data we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure server infrastructure, access controls, and regular security audits. However, please note that no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We retain anonymized usage and diagnostic data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, typically for a period of 12 months, after which it is permanently deleted or anonymized beyond recovery.

Third-Party Services

Joxlu does not integrate with any third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media platforms that collect your personal data. The app operates independently, and we do not share any user data with third parties for any purpose, except as required by law.

If we add any third-party services to Joxlu in the future, we will ensure that those services comply with strict privacy standards, and we will update this privacy policy to clearly disclose the third-party services and their data practices. We will never add third-party services that compromise your privacy or collect your personal data without your explicit consent.

Your Rights & Control Over Your Data

As a Joxlu user, you have full control over your personal data, and we respect the following rights:

• Right to Access: You can access all your personal user-generated content directly within the app, at any time, as it is stored locally on your device.
• Right to Delete: You can delete all your personal data from Joxlu at any time by clearing the app data in your device settings or uninstalling the app. Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered, and we have no access to it.
• Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out of the collection of anonymized usage and diagnostic data at any time through your device settings or the app's settings menu (if available).
• Right to Contact: If you have any questions or concerns about your data privacy, you can contact us at any time, and we will respond to your inquiry promptly.

We do not collect any personal data that would require us to process data subject access requests, as all your personal data is stored locally on your device and under your full control.

Children's Privacy

Joxlu is designed for general audiences and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, app features, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and post the updated policy within the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.

Your continued use of Joxlu after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the app.
